Mark Hughes- We can win the UEFA Cup

Manchester City manager Mark Hughes has claimed that his side has what it requires to lift the UEFA Cup this season. City, who qualified for the Cup via the fair play system, have been drawn against German club Hamburger SV in the last eight of the tournament.

Should City beat Hamburg, they will either take on the conquerors of AC Milan, Werder Bremen, or the only remaining Italian side in Europe, Udinese.

City beat Danish side Aab Aalborg 4-3 on penalties in the previous round. They are the only team from the qualifying stages left in the tournament. And the Cup is sure to see a new winner this season, because no previous winner is left in the competition.
