Welsh midfielder Jack Collison will miss his country’s World Cup qualifiers against Finland and Germany after sustaining an injury in West Ham’s 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic last week.

The 20 year old dislocated his knee cap and is likely to be out for close to two months. Collison was replaced by Jonathan Spector in the 78th minute in that game.

John Toshack is also sweating on the fitness of centre back James Collins and striker Craig Bellamy.
