Opportunities have been limited for Mannone at Arsenal, with Wojciech Szczesny and Lukasz Fabianski both ahead in the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium. His only appearance this season was in the Champions League clash against Olympiakos, a fixture the Gunners lost 3-1.
Mannone has been at Arsenal since 2005 after joining them as a teen from Atalanta and has also been capped by the Italian U21 team. He also had a spell on loan at Barnsley in 2006.

Wolves nearing Hunt capture
Wolves manager Mick Mccarthy is set to take his summer spending to over £17m with the signing of Hull City midfielder Stephen Hunt. A £3million deal has been agreed for the versatile Republic of Ireland international with Hull City. Hunt represented Hull City for just a solitary season after transferring from Reading. He made 27 appearances and scored 6 times including an opening day goal at Stamford Bridge. But a foot injury would rule him out for the start of the 2010-11 season.
Hunt would become McCarthy’s fourth signing of the close season after Jelle Van Damme, Steven Fletcher and Steven Mouyokolo.
