Exclusive – Barnes: Liverpool no longer a draw for top managers
John Barnes admits Liverpool can’t look at the top band of managers to replace Kenny Dalglish.
The former Reds star was sacked on Wednesday afternoon after the club finished eighth in the Premier League, 37 points behind winners Manchester City.
Dalglish did manage to win the Anfield club their first trophy since 2006, the Carling Cup, and steered the club to an FA Cup final defeat to Chelsea.
