The RPL’s transfer window doesn’t close for another three weeks and with cash rich oil magnates fueling the ambitions of clubs in the country, Tevez’s hefty salary demands will not be a stumbling block in the deal.
A move to Russia looks like Tevez’s best chance of regular football before the summer. He was linked with AC Milan, Inter, PSG and Liverpool but none of those moves materialised during the January window.
Anzhi, who already have Roberto Carlos and Samuel Eto’o on their books, are many people’s favourites to sign Tevez if he agrees for a move eastward to Russia.
